Vancouver-bound

July 25, 2008

I'm looking forward to spending the next ten days out in the land of salmon, where I'll be holing up in a dorm room at the University of British Columbia to study with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

This marks my third trip to Vancouver (not counting the six weeks I spent across the harbor in Victoria a few years ago). I seem to have developed a real fondness for the place. It's easy to see why it consistently gets rated one of the most livable cities in the world. It's kind of like San Francisco without the fog and the funny money.

Anyway, posting will probably be light-to-non-existent until I get back on August 4.
