Genographic world map

National Geographic has created a nifty interactive map that tracks the historical migration of different human groups around the world over the past 200,000 years.
This reminds me a little of the old Eames film Atlas, which showed a time-lapsed animated map chronicling the ebb and flow of the Roman Empire (nowhere to be found on YouTube, alas).
