Catching up
April 15, 2007
Things have been quiet around here lately, while I've been busy on a number of fronts:
- Going through the final paces with my book, reviewing the galleys and working on a companion Web site to launch in the next couple of weeks (watch this space)
- Visiting friends in San Francisco and tooling around Reno/Tahoe, Calistoga and Sonoma Mountain Zen Center (where I visited yesterday afternoon for a Buddha's Birthday celebration, featuring a dharma talk by Kwong-roshi and a musical offering by sangha member Charlie Musselwhite)
- And - here's the big news - getting ready to move back to New York City. I've just accepted a job with the New York Times, where I'll be working with Khoi Vinh and his team on the ongoing redesign of nytimes.com. I'm flying to NYC this Thursday for an apt-hunting trip before I start work on April 30. Speaking of which, if anyone out there has leads on a decent Manhattan apt, preferably somewhere on the west side, send 'em this way.
