just when you thought we'd

June 21, 2001

just when you thought we'd run out of buzzwords ...
... along comes Forrester's George F. Colony with the "
X Internet," his catchphrase for the emergence of new technologies that will facilitate the development of client-side Internet applications beyond the Web browser. personally, i'm not sure the world needs another catchy Forrester-ism (anyone remember "Transactive content" from a few years back?), but buzzword or no, Forrester's analysis is, as usual, dead-on.
